Since 2014, IslandFit Physical Therapy & Wellness has stood as a place where movement met meaning. Within those walls, patients rebuilt strength, rediscovered confidence, and learned what it truly means to come back stronger.

Founded by Dana Walker Bronsord, PT, DScPT, OCS, MMOA, IslandFit began with a simple, powerful mission: to bring world-class physical therapy and wellness to the Fort Myers Beach community. From our original home in Santini Plaza, we became the island’s only full-service, state-of-the-art facility, a place where recovery met community, and movement became medicine.

When the hurricane struck, it changed our island, and it changed us. We lost our walls, but never our purpose. The foundations that mattered most, compassion, connection, and resilience, remained unshaken.

Out of devastation came determination. We rebuilt not just a clinic, but a renewed commitment to the people and place that shaped us. Today’s IslandFit represents more than recovery. It stands as a symbol of resilience, renewal, and restoration.
