Common questions
In Florida, a referral is not required to start physical therapy. Direct access laws let you see a physical therapist without a physician’s order for an initial evaluation and treatment period. Insurance plans vary, so our team will confirm your benefits before your first visit.
Treatment duration depends on your condition and goals, but most sessions last between 45 and 60 minutes.
Wear loose, comfortable clothing and athletic shoes. Please make sure the area being treated (for example, a shoulder or knee) is easy for your therapist to reach.
